It’s not easy to be a member of FFDTL, but I’m proud because of my oath and promise to my beloved country, TimorLeste.
Being a member of the military is not a young thing. Because we have to promise to be good servants of society as well as our beloved country, Timor-Leste. There are many public views about the profession of being a member of the military or FFDTL. There are those who think that they are so young, but there are also those who think that it is very difficult when carrying out duties in the field in a country because not only are we members but we will be placed in positions not according to us but according to the mandate of our superiors based on our respective abilities.
However, each individual has a different view, like aspects of a person’s glasses, where not all individuals are the same. Becoming a member of the Military is not a young matter. Where they must be prepared for their duties and responsibilities tirelessly when their careers are at stake in the country’s situation because people who choose a career as a military officer are certainly very different from other institutions in a country. Where we have to sincerely be away from our families because we ourselves have made sacred promises to the Martyrs and the Motherland, like in other countries, as well as in my country, Timor-Leste.
I’m still small, so when I make my childhood dream come true, I really want to be a good servant. It’s not just the outer appearance when I dress, but I have pledged my oath and promise to be a good servant of society and the country regardless of existing differences. It is difficult for us to implement the mandate of our ancestors and warriors who have inherited the meaning of independence, but we must fight as best we can because we are the next generation of the Timor-Leste nation. We hope that the next generation will be the same as us who are carrying out our duties and mandates in accordance with the corridors and concepts that have been neatly arranged in a rule for us so that we can advance our country Timor-Leste in the future with our concepts, vision and mission in the field of security.
Equality of work during service must be in accordance with legalized procedures and concepts so that as members of the military we must respect ourselves, our comrades in arms and all communities in mainland Timor-Leste. I am a soldier member of the FFDTL military and will stick to my oath and promise to be a good servant in the future for the sake of the people and my country of Timor-Leste.
I realize how difficult it is for us to choose the profession of being a member of FFDTL but at least I have fought for So it was the best thing from the start when I chose my profession as a member of FFDTL. Being away from your family because of your duties and responsibilities as part of the nation’s generation is certainly not a young thing. Moreover, when we are on duty we are far from parents, relatives as well as wives and children because of the full demands of duty and responsibility as security officers in my country, Timor Leste.
Sometimes we are bored as normal human beings, sometimes we are tired as servants but when we remembering our oath and promise to our homeland, we ourselves are willing and willing to collaborate with our conscience as members of the FFDTL/Military because the spirit of nationalism will radiate alone without a written invitation. From all of that, this is my personal experience as a member of the Militar or FFDTL in my beloved country, Timor-Leste.
I hope for the younger generation, never give up on targeting your dreams. If any of the younger generation wants to become a member of FFDTL, keep going. struggling from studying to preparing physically and mentally and physically so that later we can be chosen if fate is on our side. The reason is that success is the result of struggle.
